Weapon Design

While finishing three simple coloured versions of my character i felt that dispite what character i choose she will need a weapon that is hers. A weapon both defines a character player type and also can recreate a popular asset in the game. Dispite my character only being a NPC she will be a character would help in combat later in the game.

After doing 100 silhouettes for character, to flush out ideas already in our head, i wanted to do another 100 for scifi gun concepts so that the weapon i was creation was totally new. Keeping in mind what my characters story is and hat the idea of her is, i tried to keep the concepts to smaller weapons but some did end up appearing more like rocket launchers or large weapons.

remembering details like by futuristic and small important as well as trying to keep a sense of human weaponry, making the look iconic to weapons today will make people see that the weapon is human. Odd shapes and weird ways to hold the gun will make it more alien and that is not what i want out of the weapon. My choice of weapon will fall under those categories. Also looking at weapons that have potential to grow.
